Senior OT Technician Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operation theatre, instruments, and equipment.
- Assist surgeons and doctors during surgical procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of OT instruments.
- Monitor OT equipment functionality and maintain inventory.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other OT staff.
- Supervise and guide junior OT technicians and support staff.
- Maintain OT records, sterilization logs, and surgery checklists.
- Ensure availability of surgical instruments, consumables, and emergency supplies.
- Follow hospital protocols for pre-operative and post-operative OT preparation.
