Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Dell Hardware Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for Dell laptops, desktops and peripheral devices. The candidate will be responsible for hardware troubleshooting, repairs, component replacements, system deployment and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and replace Dell laptop and desktop hardware components.
- Perform hardware health checks and system diagnostics.
- Install Windows OS, configure drivers and support imaging and device deployment.
- Handle Dell warranty claims and coordinate with Dell support for repairs and replacements.
- Maintain hardware asset records and service documentation.
- Support device rollouts, refreshes and migrations.
- Coordinate with IT teams to resolve user hardware issues.
- Travel to satellite offices when required.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in hardware support or desktop support.
- Hands-on experience with Dell laptops, desktops and peripherals.
- Knowledge of hardware components, BIOS, drivers and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with Dell Command Update and SupportAssist.
- Basic Windows OS and Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Valuable communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to work at Electronic City, Bengaluru, and travel to nearby offices when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
- Experience with hardware warranty management, imaging and asset management.
