Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Executive International Paper Sourcing to manage the global procurement of paper for our corrugated box manufacturing plant in Zimbabwe.

Our manufacturing unit consumes approximately 7,000 MT of paper annually. We currently import paper from various international markets and are looking for a professional with solid industry knowledge, established supplier networks, and proven experience in international paper trading and sourcing.

The selected candidate will be based at our New Delhi office and will be responsible for identifying global suppliers, negotiating competitive prices, managing import procurement, and ensuring a reliable and cost-effective supply of paper to our Zimbabwe operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Source Kraft Paper, Kraft Liner, Kraft Test Liner, White Kraft Liner, and other relevant grades from international markets.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with overseas paper mills, manufacturers, traders, and exporters.
- Obtain and compare international quotations, negotiate prices, and secure competitive procurement terms.
- Monitor global paper prices, market trends, freight rates, and supplier availability.
- Manage the complete procurement cycle, including inquiries, purchase orders, shipment coordination, and import documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping agents, freight forwarders, suppliers,



and the Zimbabwe-based team to ensure timely deliveries.
- Evaluate suppliers on quality, pricing, payment terms, reliability, and delivery performance.
- Explore new sourcing markets and develop long-term supplier relationships to optimise procurement costs.
- Maintain procurement records and provide regular updates on purchase prices, market developments, and upcoming requirements.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in international sourcing or trading of Kraft Paper and related paper grades.
- Strong understanding of Kraft Liner, Kraft Test Liner, White Kraft Liner, and other paper grades used in corrugated box manufacturing.
- Proven experience dealing directly with international paper mills, exporters, or established paper traders.
- Good knowledge of global paper markets, international trade terms (Incoterms), shipping, and import-export documentation.
- Strong negotiation, vendor development, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage procurement requirements for a manufacturing operation overseas.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates currently working with paper mills, paper trading companies, paper importers, or corrugated packaging manufacturers will be preferred.

Important: This position requires hands-on experience in the international paper trade, specifically in the relevant paper grades. Experience in general procurement or purchasing unrelated materials will not be sufficient.
