Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, and other caf drinks. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of coffee preparation, machine handling, customer service, and caf operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, Americano, cold coffee, and other beverages.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other beverage equipment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Maintain beverage quality, consistency, presentation, and serving standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, equipment,



and work area.
- Monitor coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other inventory; report shortages when required.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs.
- Coordinate with service staff and kitchen teams to ensure smooth caf operations.
- Handle customer queries and provide a friendly, qualified guest experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Barista in a caf, restaurant, hotel, or specialty coffee outlet is preferred.
- Knowledge of espresso machines, grinders, and coffee brewing methods.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Knowledge of latte art and specialty coffee is an advantage.
- Well-groomed, energetic, and customer-oriented personality.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Hotel Management qualification or a relevant barista certification is preferred.
