Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plant Head to lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations at our plant in Chinchpada, Silvassa. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in automated, high-speed manufacturing environments, production planning, plant maintenance, quality management, cost control, safety, and continuous improvement.

Candidates with experience in Can Manufacturing, Printing & Packaging, Sheet Metal, Engineering, Consumer Durables (Refrigerators/Washing Machines), or Automotive Ancillaries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead overall plant operations, production planning, and execution to achieve production targets and timely deliveries.
- Manage production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and plant administration activities.
- Optimize machine utilization, manpower productivity, material consumption, and operational costs.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance to improve machine uptime and minimize downtime.
- Monitor production efficiency, rejection rates, wastage, quality standards, and plant performance KPIs.




- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, EHS regulations, industrial safety standards, and ISO quality systems.
- Handle production bottlenecks, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and monitor production plans, operational budgets, manpower requirements, and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Quality, Stores, Dispatch, HR, and other departments for smooth plant operations.
- Manage customer complaints, supplier coordination, audits, and timely corrective actions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop teams while maintaining discipline, performance standards, and a safety-oriented work culture.
- Drive process improvements, equipment upgrades, and operational excellence initiatives.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of automated production lines and high-speed manufacturing processes.
- Expertise in production planning, plant management, preventive maintenance, and cost optimization.
- Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of quality systems, ISO audits, statutory compliance, and EHS standards.
- Robust leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and team-management skills.
- Ability to monitor production KPIs, budgets, and plant MIS.
