Job Summary

Delivery Centric is seeking an experienced Investment Full Stack Developer to build intuitive, production-ready web applications for quantitative investment products . The role is primarily focused on frontend development using React , with opportunities to contribute to backend APIs using FastAPI or Flask.

Core Technology Stack

- Frontend: React or similar modern component-based frameworks, Context-based state management, Chart.js and TailwindCSS
- Backend: FastAPI or Flask with REST APIs
- Data: JSON, CSV, spreadsheets and other structured/unstructured data
- Development: Git/GitHub, CI/CD and contemporary software engineering practices

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop sophisticated, intuitive user interfaces for financial and quantitative investment applications .
- Translate complex investment data, models and workflows into clear and user-friendly experiences.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into design specifications, wireframes and proof-of-concepts.
- Rapidly iterate on designs and prototypes with stakeholders to reach agreed solutions.
- Develop and enhance frontend applications using React or similar modern frameworks .
- Contribute to backend API design and implementation using FastAPI, Flask or similar technologies as required.
- Work with structured and unstructured data across JSON, CSV, spreadsheets and other formats .
- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
- Develop scalable, maintainable and well-tested solutions aligned with established SDLC practices.
- Support integration testing, end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing.
- Contribute to CI/CD and basic DevOps practices across the application lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4+ years of relevant software development experience, with solid experience in frontend development.
- Strong JavaScript,



HTML and CSS skills with proven experience building modern web applications.
- Strong experience with React or a similar component-based frontend framework .
- Experience developing sophisticated UI/UX for financial, investment or quantitative applications .
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs .
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, Express or similar backend frameworks .
- Strong understanding of working with JSON, CSV, spreadsheets and other data formats .
- Experience with Git/GitHub and standard software development practices.
- Understanding of CI/CD and basic DevOps concepts .
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and engage directly with business stakeholders.

Desirable Experience

- Experience within an institutional investment environment , such as an asset manager, investment bank, investment consultancy, actuarial consultancy or insurance organisation.
- Experience working with Bloomberg, Refinitiv or other financial data providers .
- Experience with cloud-based SQL databases, including schema design, querying and ORMs.
- Experience with AWS or Azure .
- Exposure to containerisation, observability or production support in a web application environment.
- CFA or Actuarial qualification.

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

- Collaborate closely with senior developers on the design, architecture and ongoing enhancement of quantitative investment tools.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and rapidly iterate through wireframes and proof-of-concepts.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and the continuous improvement of engineering standards.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
