Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake DBT Developer with 5-8 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Cloud-based Analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, DBT (Data Build Tool), SQL, ETL/ELT development, and cloud platforms. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake and dbt.
- Build and manage dbt models, macros, snapshots, seeds, and incremental loads.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for large datasets.
- Implement data quality checks, testing, and documentation using dbt.
- Work with Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Cloning, and Time Travel.
- Create and maintain dimensional data models, fact tables, and data marts.
- Perform query tuning and warehouse optimization in Snowflake.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineering teams.
- Support deployment activities through Git-based CI/CD processes.





Requirements

- Strong experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Hands-on experience with dbt Core/dbt Cloud.
- Advanced SQL programming and performance tuning.
- Experience with Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Kimball).
- Knowledge of ELT/ETL concepts and pipeline development.
- Experience with Cloud platforms: AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, ADF, or Matillion.
