About the Role

Alyssum Global Services is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to manage the performance, security and reliability of its IT infrastructure. The role involves hands-on network administration, cloud services, enterprise productivity platforms, backup and disaster recovery, and advanced technical support.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy and manage firewalls, switches, routers and virtual servers.
- Administer and optimize AWS and GCP cloud environments for performance, security and cost.
- Manage Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, including access controls, security policies and governance.
- Design, test and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Manage Active Directory, Windows Server and Linux environments, including patching and access management.
- Provide Tier 23 technical support and lead root-cause analysis for complex issues.
- Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Python or Bash.
- Coordinate technology rollouts with IT teams and vendors,



maintain documentation and mentor junior IT staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in systems administration, including senior-level responsibilities.
- Mandatory hands-on experience configuring and managing firewalls and switches.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Strong understanding of backup systems and disaster recovery.
- Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server and Linux.
- Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python or Bash.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and documentation skills, with fluent English.

- Azure experience.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira.
