Role Summary

You will join Arvind Limited MEP-Procurement Materials as Manager, Capex Procurement, based in Ahmedabad, and own procurement execution for capital expenditure requirements. In this M1 individual contributor role, you will manage end-to-end capex sourcing, supplier coordination, commercial evaluation, and purchase order processing while partnering closely with internal stakeholders to support timely project delivery and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end capex procurement activities from requirement capture to order placement and closure.




- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand project needs, specifications, timelines, and approval requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure competitive commercial terms and compliant procurement outcomes.
- Prepare and review procurement comparisons, commercial evaluations, and recommendation notes for decision support.
- Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and follow-ups to ensure timely material and service availability for capex projects.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve execution issues, and escalate risks that may affect project timelines or cost.
- Ensure procurement documentation, approvals, and records are maintained accurately and in line with internal controls.
- Support process discipline, cost optimization, and continuous improvement in capex procurement workflows.
