Job Description Roles & Responsibilities

1. Responsible for appropriate production planning and execution of batches in line with targeted commitments, complying with cGMP and Safety requirements.

2. Ensure gowning practices, entry/exit procedures, and usage of PPEs are followed by the team.

3. Ensure adherence to process instructions as per Batch Manufacturing Record and departmental procedures.

4. Ensure good housekeeping on the production shop floor.

5. Ensure compliance with cGMP, Safety, Health & Workplace requirements.

6. Ensure batch records are reviewed for adequacy before handing over to QA for review,



compliance and release/rejection.

7. Report deviations/incidents immediately and conduct investigations in coordination with cross-functional teams.

8. Ensure all documentation entries are completed correctly with necessary signatures and dates.

9. Monitor and control the manufacturing environment and maintain daily logbooks.

10. Ensure preventive maintenance of equipment and calibration of gauges/instruments are performed as scheduled.

11. Ensure sanitization activities are carried out in the department.

12. Support QA in investigations related to OOS, Deviations, CAPA, incidents, complaints, recalls, validations and other required activities.

13. Ensure raw materials, intermediates and APIs are properly labelled, segregated and stored under recommended conditions.

14. Ensure stocks are reconciled at regular intervals.

15. Perform any other assignments allocated by the Production Head.
