Role Description

The Thumbnail Designer will be responsible for designing visually compelling, attention-grabbing thumbnails for YouTube videos and other digital content platforms. The role involves collaborating with creators, scriptwriters, video editors, and creative teams to understand video concepts and translate them into impactful visual designs that attract viewers and improve click-through rates. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing thumbnail concepts, editing images, selecting appropriate typography and colour combinations, creating visual compositions, and refining designs based on feedback and performance insights. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of YouTube thumbnail trends, audience psychology, visual storytelling, and platform-specific design practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, requiring close collaboration with the creative and production teams.

Qualifications

- Strong graphic design skills,



with experience creating thumbnails for YouTube videos and digital content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other relevant graphic design tools.
- Ability to create eye-catching thumbnails using effective compositions, typography, colour combinations, image manipulation, and visual hierarchy.
- Understanding of YouTube thumbnail trends, audience behaviour, and factors that influence click-through rates.
- Ability to interpret video concepts, titles, and scripts to develop relevant and compelling thumbnail ideas.
- Strong visual storytelling skills and the ability to communicate a video's core idea through a single image.
- Experience with photo manipulation, background removal, retouching, lighting effects, and creative image editing.
- Ability to maintain consistency with creator branding while adapting designs to different content styles and audiences.
- Willingness to collaborate with creators, video editors, scriptwriters, and other team members to develop and refine thumbnail concepts.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and incorporate feedback in a fast-paced work workplace.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating thumbnail design skills, creativity, and versatility is preferred.
- Prior experience working with YouTube creators, digital media companies, or content production teams is an advantage.
- Relevant education in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field is beneficial.
