About Zypack: At Zypack , we are committed to delivering high-quality, injection moulded plastic packaging to our clients. We are currently looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Injection Moulding Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Operator who will be responsible for the core setup, operation, and troubleshooting of our injection moulding machines. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in changing moulds, configuring machine parameters, and ensuring the continuous, efficient production of high-quality parts that meet Zypack’s strict quality standards. We use PP, SAN , ABS, PETG as materials and our machines are from Neelgiri having 16-24 cavities, 150-280 ton.

Key Responsibilities:

- Mould Setting & Changeovers: Safely and efficiently install, change, and remove moulds from injection moulding machines according to the production schedule. Connect water, hydraulic, and pneumatic lines properly.
- Parameter Configuration: Set, adjust, and optimize machine parameters (including temperature profiles, injection pressure, speed, holding pressure, and cooling times) based on material specifications and part requirements.
- Machine Operation: Perform safe machine start-ups and shut-downs. Monitor automated production cycles to ensure machines are running at optimal efficiency.
- Process Troubleshooting: Actively monitor production for defects (such as flash, short shots, sink marks, burn marks, or warping) and make immediate, calculated adjustments to machine parameters to correct them.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular visual inspections and use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)



to ensure finished products meet technical drawings and quality specifications.
- Material Handling: Ensure the correct raw materials, colorants, and resins are being used. Oversee the drying and loading of materials into hoppers.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform basic routine maintenance on machines, moulds, and auxiliary equipment. Report any major mechanical or electrical issues to the maintenance team.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace (5S).

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience as an Injection Moulding Operator, Setup Technician, or Process Technician in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills:

- Basic Knowledge of Computer Operation, excel DPR making.
- Strong working knowledge of setting up moulds and dialing in injection moulding machine parameters from scratch.
- Understanding of different plastic resins/polymers and how they behave during the moulding process.
- Familiarity with operating auxiliary equipment (chillers, thermolators, grinders, dryers).

- Quality Focused: Experience using standard quality control measuring tools and reading technical blueprints.
- Problem-Solving: Robust analytical skills to diagnose processing issues and adjust parameters without compromising part quality.
- Education: Injection Moulding Diploma. A technical certificate or diploma in plastics manufacturing or a related trade is highly preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to mould changes.
