Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in in-process quality control within the mechanical and hydraulic parts manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality during manufacturing, monitoring production processes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to maintain quality standards.
- Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor in-process quality at various stages of machining and component manufacturing.
- Inspect mechanical and hydraulic components as per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform dimensional inspections using Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, control plans, inspection plans, and SOPs.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues during production.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, rejection reports,
and quality documentation.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with production and other departments to reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
- Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- Support internal audits and continuous improvement activities.
- Required Skills & QualificationsDiploma or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in in-process quality in a mechanical or hydraulic parts manufacturing company.
- Knowledge of machining processes, mechanical components, and hydraulic parts.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of 7 QC tools, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems will be an advantage.
- Valuable problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
