About VedantikalaVedantikala Sattva Retreat-Resort is a nature-based wellness sanctuary nestled within 7.5 acres of lush greenery and coffee estates in the Western Ghats of Chikkamagaluru.

We are seeking two qualified and dedicated Ayurvedic Spa Therapists to join our wellness team and deliver authentic Ayurvedic therapies in a peaceful, professional and guest-centred environment.

- Job ResponsibilitiesPerform traditional Ayurvedic treatments, including Abhyanga, Shirodhara, head massage, foot massage and other therapies according to training and approved protocols.
- Provide professional, personalised spa experiences while maintaining guest comfort, dignity and privacy.
- Understand guest wellness requirements, screen for treatment contraindications and recommend suitable therapies within professional qualifications.
- Explain the benefits, procedures and aftercare of Ayurvedic treatments.
- Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, cleanliness, sanitation and spa-room preparation.
- Ensure proper handling of Ayurvedic oils, herbal preparations, equipment and treatment supplies.
- Maintain treatment records, appointments and inventory.
- Promote suitable spa packages and wellness experiences to interested guests without pressure.
- Contribute towards guest satisfaction, repeat visits and monthly spa sales.
- Work collaboratively with the Vedantikala hospitality and wellness team.
- Qualifications & ExperienceRecognised certification or diploma in Ayurvedic Massage Therapy,



Panchakarma Therapy or a related discipline.
- Practical experience in Ayurvedic spas, wellness retreats, resorts or treatment centres preferred.
- Knowledge of traditional Ayurvedic oils, massage techniques and treatment procedures.
- Professional grooming, excellent personal hygiene and a courteous attitude.
- Basic communication skills in English, Kannada or Hindi.
- Commitment to guest confidentiality, professional boundaries and ethical treatment practices.

Salary & BenefitsMonthly Salary: ₹20,000 net

Food Allowance: ₹2,500 per month

Accommodation: FREE

Additional Sales Incentive: 5% of total monthly spa sales, subject to the applicable incentive policy.

Working Hours:

Morning: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Evening: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Total scheduled duty: 8 hours daily, with a 3-hour interval.

Weekly rest days, statutory benefits and leave entitlements will be provided in accordance with applicable employment laws.
