Liaise with tax consultants and authorities for GST assessments, audits, and responses to notices.

2. Direct Tax & Statutory Compliance

Manage TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) calculations, timely deposit, and quarterly return filings (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.).

Oversee other statutory compliances such as Provident Fund (PF), ESIC, Professional Tax, and corporate filings (if applicable).

Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulatory requirements to advise management on compliance implications.

3. General Accounting & Financial Operations

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR),

and General Ledger (GL) maintenance.

Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, and expense tracking.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate accruals and prepayments.

4. Audits & Financial Reporting

Act as the primary point of contact for internal, statutory, and tax auditors.

Prepare schedules, financial statements, and compliance reports required for audits.

Identify control gaps and implement robust internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com). CA (Inter), CMA, or equivalent skilled qualification is a strong plus.

Experience: [3 to 6+ years] of progressive experience in corporate accounting, with a heavy emphasis on taxation and regulatory compliance.
