About the Role

Yucel Hub is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Professional Video Editor to join our team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in editing both long-form and short-form video content, with a passion for visual storytelling, creative editing, and producing high-quality content for digital platforms.

The role involves transforming raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with creative briefs, brand guidelines, and audience expectations. From YouTube videos and interviews to Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, the candidate should be capable of delivering compelling content with excellent pacing, visual consistency, and professional finishing.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit long-form content, including YouTube videos, interviews, podcasts, promotional videos, and brand films.
- Create engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
- Perform video cutting, sequencing, storytelling, and timeline editing to produce polished final content.
- Add motion graphics, text animations, subtitles, transitions, and visual effects where required.
- Perform color correction, color grading, audio cleanup, and sound design.
- Use B-roll footage, music, sound effects, and visual elements to enhance storytelling.
- Create attention-grabbing hooks and maintain engaging pacing throughout videos.
- Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form clips optimized for different platforms.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to maintain visual consistency and brand identity.
- Organize project files, manage multiple editing projects, and maintain proper version control.
- Ensure all videos meet quality standards and are delivered within deadlines.




- Stay updated with the latest editing techniques, creative trends, and digital content formats.

Qualifications & Skills

- Strong skills in video production and professional video editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion graphics is an advantage.
- Experience with color grading, audio editing, sound design, and visual enhancement.
- Strong understanding of long-form storytelling and short-form content creation.
- Knowledge of social media video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements.
- Ability to create engaging edits with strong pacing, clean transitions, and visual consistency.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A relevant degree or diploma in Film, Media, Animation, or a related field is preferred; equivalent qualified experience is also valued.
- A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing long-form and short-form editing work is required.
