Role Description The Vedic Maths Teacher will deliver engaging, concept-focused Vedic Mathematics lessons to school students, primarily aligned with Bihar Board requirements, in an on-site classroom setting in Patna. This full-time role includes planning and structuring lessons, explaining Vedic maths techniques clearly, demonstrating shortcut methods, and helping learners apply these methods to school-level mathematics and exam preparation. The teacher will conduct regular classes, assign and review practice work, track student progress, and offer individual guidance to strengthen numerical ability and problem-solving speed.





Responsibilities also include contributing to curriculum development for Vedic Maths modules, coordinating with academic and mentoring teams, and using simple teaching aids or technology tools to make learning accessible for students from diverse backgrounds. The teacher is expected to maintain a supportive, inclusive classroom environment and participate in periodic training or workshops to improve teaching practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to clearly explain concepts and Vedic techniques to school-level learners.
- Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design structured, exam-focused Vedic Maths lessons and practice materials.
- Candidates should be a Qualified Teacher with relevant teaching experience in mathematics or related subjects at school level.
- Candidates should possess effective classroom management and communication skills, and the ability to motivate and support students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Candidates should ideally hold a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education, or a related field; familiarity with Bihar Board syllabus and Vedic Maths training experience will be considered an advantage.
- Candidates should be comfortable working full time in office in Patna, show a strong commitment to rural education, and be willing to participate in ongoing professional development.
