Sr. Manager - SAP BTP & Integration Suite

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly accomplished SAP BTP & Integration Suite Sr. Manager to lead the enterprise integration strategy, architecture, governance, and delivery of business-critical integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP platforms. This leadership role is responsible for driving the organization's API-first, event-driven, cloud-native integration vision while maximizing the value of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

The Manager will provide strategic direction for SAP BTP services, Integration Suite adoption, enterprise API management, SAP Business AI enablement, and integration modernization programs, including large-scale SAP PO/PI to SAP Integration Suite migrations. This role partners closely with executive leadership, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Data & Analytics, and Business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready integration capabilities that accelerate digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the enterprise integration strategy and roadmap aligned with business and digital transformation objectives.
- Lead the adoption and expansion of SAP BTP services to support application integration, automation, AI, analytics, and innovation initiatives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to business and technology leadership on integration architecture, modernization programs, and SAP BTP investments.
- Drive enterprise-wide adoption of API-led connectivity, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native integration practices.
- Develop multi-year integration transformation roadmaps aligned with SAP's strategic direction and business priorities.
- Provide executive oversight for SAP BTP Integration Suite capabilities, including:
- Cloud Integration (CPI)
- API Management
- Event Mesh / Advanced Event Mesh
- Open Connectors
- Trading Partner Management
- Integration Advisor
- Establish reusable integration frameworks, patterns, accelerators, and governance processes to improve delivery efficiency and standardization.




- Lead the implementation of enterprise-wide API strategies, standards, lifecycle management, and API governance models.
- Drive the adoption of integration best practices across hybrid, cloud, and multi-system landscapes.
- Lead enterprise SAP PO/PI assessment, migration, and modernization initiatives.
- Promote direct API and cloud-native integration approaches that reduce complexity and operational costs.
- Oversee migration planning, testing, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.
- Manage a portfolio of strategic integration and SAP BTP initiatives.
- Develop budgets, investment plans, resource strategies, and operational models for integration services.
- Lead large-scale transformation programs across multiple business functions and geographic regions.
- Provide executive-level status reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and oversight governance.
- Establish success metrics, KPIs, and value realization frameworks for integration investments.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development for technical resources and emerging leaders.
- Lead global delivery teams, including onshore, offshore, and managed service providers.
- Partner with business executives, product teams, application owners, and technology leaders to prioritize integration initiatives.
- Manage strategic relationships with SAP, implementation partners, cloud providers, and third-party vendors.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, governance, and audit requirements.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline; master’s degree preferred.




- 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration, middleware, and application architecture.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing integration teams, architects, and large-scale technology programs.
- Extensive experience with SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite services.
- Proven success leading SAP PO/PI to SAP Integration Suite migration and modernization programs.
- Robust experience designing enterprise integration architectures across SAP and non-SAP application landscapes.
- Demonstrated experience delivering API Management, event-driven architecture, cloud integration, and hybrid integration solutions.
- Experience managing strategic programs, budgets, vendor relationships, and technology roadmaps.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.
- Experience leading global and cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments.
- Deep knowledge of integration technologies and standards including REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, XML, JSON, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology investments to measurable business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP Certified Integration Developer or SAP BTP Integration Suite Certification.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Ariba, Concur, Fieldglass, SuccessFactors, SAP Business Network, and MDG integrations.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS), Identity Federation, and Enterprise IAM solutions.
- Experience implementing SAP Business AI and Joule-enabled solutions across SAP applications.
- Experience establishing and leading an Enterprise Integration Center of Excellence (CoE).
- Familiarity with Advanced Event Mesh, Kafka, event streaming, and real-time integration architectures.
- Knowledge of SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Build Work Zone, SAP Datasphere, and related SAP BTP services.
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and modern cloud engineering practices.
- MBA or advanced degree.
