Social Media, Video & Podcast Intern – Author BrandingWe are looking for a creative, organised and hands-on individual to work closely with an author on social media, book promotion, Reel creation, video editing and podcast outreach & coordination.

This is a full-time, paid internship for 3–6 months, designed for someone who wants hands-on experience in building an author’s digital presence and personal brand.

? Location: Gurugram preferred

? Work Mode: Remote

? In-Person: 1–2 meetings/content shoots with the author per month in Gurugram

⏳ Duration: 3–6 months

? Commitment: Full time

? Monthly Stipend: Yes – to be discussed during the selection process

What You’ll Be Doing? Reels & Video Creation

- Conceptualise, shoot and edit engaging Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Turn the author’s ideas, books and conversations into compelling video content
- Create strong hooks, subtitles, B-roll, transitions, music and engaging edits
- Repurpose long-form content and podcasts into Reels and Shorts
- Assist with planned content shoots with the author

?️ Podcasts

- Research relevant podcasts, hosts and personalities aligned with the author’s work
- Identify and shortlist suitable podcast opportunities and collaborations
- Assist with outreach to relevant podcast hosts and platforms
- Coordinate communication, follow-ups and recording schedules
- Maintain an organised tracker of outreach, responses and confirmed podcasts
- Help prepare background research and talking points before appearances
- Edit podcast/video recordings into polished long-form content
- Identify high-impact moments and convert them into short-form videos

? Book Promotion

- Develop creative social media campaigns around the author’s books
- Turn book concepts, chapters, quotes and insights into engaging content
- Create promotional Reels, posts, Stories and carousels
- Brainstorm new ways to increase book awareness and engagement
- Support ongoing book marketing and launch campaigns

? Social Media & Author Branding





- Help manage Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube
- Plan and maintain the content calendar
- Create and publish social media content
- Write engaging hooks, captions and CTAs
- Research trends and content opportunities
- Help build a consistent and credible digital identity for the author

What We’re Looking For✓ Strong Reel creation and video editing skills are mandatory

✓ Ability to independently edit both short-form and long-form content

✓ Comfortable with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or equivalent tools

✓ Good understanding of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts

✓ Understanding of hooks, storytelling, pacing and audience retention

✓ Strong research, communication and coordination skills

✓ Good written and spoken English

✓ Organised enough to manage podcast schedules, outreach and follow-ups

✓ Interest in books, podcasts, content creation and personal branding

✓ Ability to take initiative and bring fresh content ideas

Students, recent graduates and aspiring content creators are welcome to apply. Prior professional experience is not mandatory, but strong video editing and content creation skills are essential.
