Role Description The SME – Data Science (PG with 2 yrs Exp) is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. The role involves designing and delivering data science and analytics content for FACE Prep’s training programs, including lectures, hands-on sessions, and assessments. The SME will create structured learning materials, curate real-world datasets, and develop case studies and projects that align with current industry practices.

Responsibilities include mentoring learners, resolving doubts, reviewing assignments, and providing feedback to help learners build strong data science foundations.



The role also requires collaborating with the content and product teams to continuously update curricula, track learning outcomes, and contribute to recent course offerings.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Statistics and Data Science skills for building and explaining data-driven models and methods.
- Candidates should possess solid Data Analytics and Data Analysis skills for interpreting datasets, generating insights, and solving business problems.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for problem-solving, logical reasoning, and structuring complex concepts for learners.
- Postgraduate degree (e.g., M.Sc., M.Tech, M.E., or equivalent) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or closely related roles, preferably with exposure to real-world projects.
- Proficiency in common data science tools and languages (such as Python/R, libraries for data analysis and machine learning, and SQL) is highly beneficial.
- Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring learners, with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an academic and product-focused environment and adapt content to varying learner profiles.
