The Integration Architect defines and governs Officeworks’ enterprise integration architecture and provides hands-on detailed design for integration solutions. The role translates business needs into integration blueprints, standards and roadmaps that align with enterprise and domain architecture and the company’s strategy and growth objectives.

Working closely with delivery teams and external partners, the role provides strategic recommendations for the Enterprise Integration Platform and ensures solutions align with agreed blueprints. It governs the platform end to end so that integration enables business outcomes and delivers value to customers.

Essential:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience: At least 8 years of IT experience,



primarily with integration development exposure, including at least 5 years working in a large, complex IT environment.
- Architecture Practice: Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps, and guiding and governing the work of developers and technical leads., 2 integration Platform Knowledge.
- Delivery Methods: Experience in cross-functional IT project management, methodologies and techniques; a good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methods, including advising teams on opportunities, impacts, risks and technical debt.
- Technology Knowledge: SAP Integration Suite and similar middleware technologies, including Cloud Integration, API Management, Graph and Event Mesh/ Kafka/ Solace.
- Communication and Influence: Ability to present solution proposals and complex information to senior executives and technical and non-technical audiences, build effective relationships, facilitate communication, influence outcomes and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Personal Attributes: Innovative problem solving, strategic thinking, curiosity and commitment to continuous improvement, supported by strong organization, time management and team contribution.

Preferred:

- Architecture Qualification: Enterprise architecture framework qualification, preferably TOGAF.
- Implementation Experience: Hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of three or more SAP Integration Suite implementation projects.
- SAP Architecture: Strong experience in SAP landscape sizing and architecture, RFPs and coordination with delivery teams, plus knowledge of SAP solutions in virtualized and cloud environments.
- Cloud Technologies: Experience working with private or public cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud.
- Business and Industry Context: Experience working with Supply Chain, Merchandise, Marketing and Finance teams, and an appreciation of retail and eCommerce. Relevant industry experience is helpful but not required.

- Agile Practices: Understanding of agile delivery approaches, including Scrum and Kanban.
