Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Field Sales Consultant role is based in Patna Sadar and focuses on driving merchant acquisition and revenue growth for PAYTM’s products and services.

The Senior Field Sales

Consultant will visit local businesses, present PAYTM solutions, and manage the end-to-end sales process from prospecting and lead generation to closing and onboarding. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting in-person sales presentations, explaining product features and benefits, resolving customer queries, and ensuring high levels of post-sale customer service. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of client interactions, tracking sales performance,



and collaborating with internal teams to optimize sales strategies and market coverage. This position requires frequent field travel within Patna Sadar and strong relationship-building skills to expand PAYTM’s merchant network.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales and Sales Processes skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.
- Candidates should possess effective Sales Presentations and Communication skills for explaining products clearly and influencing buying decisions.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Candidates should ideally have experience in field sales, B2B sales, or merchant acquisition within financial services, fintech, or related industries.
- Candidates should be comfortable working on-site with frequent local travel in Patna Sadar and managing targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should have basic proficiency with digital tools and mobile applications used for payments, reporting, and communication.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, along with demonstrated achievement in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
