Role Description This is a full time, hybrid Senior Accountant role based in Delhi, India, with flexibility for some work-from-home.

The Senior

Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing activities.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The role will involve analyzing financial data to support leadership decision-making, collaborating with cross-functional teams on cost tracking and project profitability,



and coordinating with external auditors and consultants.

The Senior

Accountant will also help improve financial processes, implement best practices, and support the scalability of the finance function as the brand grows.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong financial accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entry preparation, and financial statement analysis.
- Candidates should possess solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis to support data-driven business decisions.
- Candidates should possess expertise in taxation and compliance, including knowledge of Indian tax laws, GST, TDS, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as strong Excel skills for reporting and analytics.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams, management, and external partners.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent experience in senior accounting roles are highly beneficial.
- Experience in manufacturing, design, retail, or consumer brands, and familiarity with inventory, project, and fixed asset accounting will be an advantage.
