Role: SAP Ariba Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Provide functional support and configuration for SAP Ariba.

Support end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

Work on SAP Ariba modules such as:

Buying & Invoicing

Strategic Sourcing

Contracts

Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP)

Guided Buying

SAP Business Network / Ariba Network

Support supplier onboarding, registration, qualification, and supplier-management processes.

Troubleshoot procurement transactions including requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.

Analyze and resolve production incidents and integration failures.

Support integration between SAP Ariba and SAP ECC/S/4HANA.

Work with CIG / SAP Integration Suite, APIs, and interface-related processes.

Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend permanent solutions.

Handle change requests, enhancements, configuration, testing, and deployments.





Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical/integration teams.

Support unit testing, regression testing, integration testing, and UAT.

Manage incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.

Maintain SOPs, functional documentation, RCA documents, and knowledge articles.

Mandatory Skills

Strong hands-on experience in SAP Ariba.

Good knowledge of S2P/P2P procurement processes.

Experience with Ariba Buying & Invoicing and/or Sourcing.

Good understanding of SAP Ariba integration with ECC/S/4HANA.

Knowledge of CIG / SAP Integration Suite.

Understanding of procurement master and transactional data.

Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Experience in AMS L2/L3 support and/or implementation projects.

Valuable communication and stakeholder-management skills.
