Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Residential Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The role involves meeting with clients to understand their lifestyle, design preferences, and budget, and translating these requirements into cohesive interior concepts for residential spaces. The designer will be responsible for space planning, developing mood boards and material palettes, preparing detailed drawings and layouts, and coordinating FF&E; selections, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors, overseeing site measurements, monitoring progress to ensure design intent and quality standards are met, and adjusting plans as needed.



The role also requires preparing presentations, managing project timelines, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Interior Design and Architecture for residential projects, with the ability to translate client needs into practical and aesthetic solutions.
- Demonstrated skills in Space Planning to optimize layouts, circulation, and functional zoning within homes.
- Experience preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings, including detailed floor plans, elevations, and sections for project execution.
- Knowledge of FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and specification, including materials, finishes, and vendors.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with visualization tools.
- Strong visual design sense, attention to detail, and understanding of current residential design trends and sustainable materials.
- Effective communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present concepts and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, adhere to timelines, and work on-site in Bengaluru as part of a cooperative environment.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential interior design is highly preferred.
