Role Description:

The Purchasing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including vendor identification, supplier negotiations, purchase order creation, and ensuring timely delivery of furniture and related materials.

The Purchasing

Manager monitors inventory levels, aligns purchasing plans with sales forecasts, and collaborates closely with store operations, warehouse, and finance teams to maintain optimal stock availability and cost efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating supplier performance, maintaining accurate purchasing records, analyzing pricing and quality data, and ensuring adherence to company policies and compliance standards.



The role also involves contributing to process improvements, supporting new product introductions, and building long-term, value-driven relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage end-to-end procurement of non-trade categories: VM, Store Fitouts, Recent Store Projects, Renovations, Marketing, Admin, Facilities, Logistics and Store Consumables.

· Lead sourcing and procurement for new store openings, renovations and project execution in coordination with Projects, Retail and VM teams.

· Develop and manage a robust vendor base, ensuring quality, timely delivery and competitive pricing.

· Negotiate commercial terms, contracts and service agreements to achieve cost optimization.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement requirements and ensure seamless execution.

· Monitor procurement budgets, vendor performance, contract compliance and procurement KPIs.

· Drive strategic sourcing, value engineering and cost-saving initiatives across all non-trade categories.

Qualification

Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, or Materials Management preferred.

Experience

8–12 years of experience in Non-Trade Procurement within Retail, Furniture, Consumer Durables, Large Format Retail, Hospitality or Real Estate. Experience in VM, Store Projects, New Store Rollouts, Procurement, Vendor Management and Strategic Sourcing highly preferred.
