M&A; Business Intelligence — Data Analyst

Accenture is one of the most active strategic acquirors in the world, and our Data Team — part of the Market Due Diligence (Research) function — is growing. Our primary focus is the research phase of the M&A; cycle, and our scope is expanding to collaborate across the broader acquisition process.

Job profile The Data Team sits within the Research function of Global Corporate Development and works with senior business leaders to identify, acquire, and integrate companies. Strategic acquisitions help Accenture enter and scale in priority growth offerings, often in the most pioneering capabilities in the market. Accenture is the most acquisitive company in its sector.

Within Corp

Dev, the Data Team also plays a specific role: piloting, adopting, and integrating emerging technologies, with a particular focus on applied AI.

You will

- Support building M&A; acquisition landscapes used by global leadership to decide where to invest — market analysis, target shortlists, company profiling, and priority sector mapping — in collaboration with local and global strategy teams.
- Support Maintenance of the team’s data and tooling ecosystem across the Microsoft Power Platform: Power BI dashboards, Power Apps model-driven applications, Dataverse models, and Power Automate workflows, Claude Artifacts & Skills, and dedicated software.
- Testing & prototyping agents, integrating LLMs into research and analysis workflows,

and evaluating new tooling as it emerges.
- Automate reporting required by senior leadership and communicate insights clearly and concisely. Prepare strategic decks and analysis to support local and global leadership in M&A; decision-making.
- Execute data projects that improve and streamline processes across other Corporate Development teams, partnering with different capabilities as priorities evolve.
- Support process improvement initiatives: ETL optimization, KPI design, complex visualizations, internal & external data integrations, and process automation.

The successful candidate has an inquiring mind, a real interest in operating close to the frontier of applied AI, and strong problem-solving skills — comfortable with ambiguity and able to translate open-ended problems into concrete solutions. What we offer An opportunity to grow in a global, agile environment, working alongside a high-performing team toward shared goals.

What we are looking for

- Software engineer looking to build a data analytics / data science career in an M&A; environment (Python, Git, Power Apps, SQL, Power BI, Power Query, APIs, databases, VBA, etc.).
- Finance background is a must. Bachelor’s in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or similar.

Skills & Work Experience Sounds interesting? Apply now. We interview on a rolling basis, so the sooner we receive your application, the better.
