At Stingray Robotix, we’re developing underwater robotic systems for marine applications, and we’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team!
? What you’ll work on:
- Design mechanical components and assemblies for underwater robots using SolidWorks.
- Create 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and manufacturing-ready designs.
- Assist with prototyping, 3D printing, assembly, manufacturing and fabrication.
- Work on mechanical enclosures, mounting systems, and structural components for underwater applications.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate, test, and improve robotic systems.
?️ What we’re looking for:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks for 3D modelling and assemblies.
- A hands-on attitude and an interest in mechanical design, prototyping, and robotics.
⭐ Bonus points if you have experience with:
- ANSYS Fluent (CFD simulations)
- ANSYS Maxwell (electromagnetic simulations)
- 3D printing, CNC machining, or fabrication
- Robotics, fluid mechanics, or underwater systems
