Role Description The Malayalam Language Teacher (Female) will deliver live online classes to learners of varying ages and proficiency levels, using Bhasha.io’s digital platform and teaching resources in a full-time remote role.

Responsibilities include planning and conducting structured lessons, introducing learners to Malayalam grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills, and integrating literature and cultural elements where appropriate. The teacher will assess student progress, provide regular feedback,



and adapt lesson plans to individual learning goals and pace. In addition, the role involves maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance, collaborating with the academic team to improve teaching materials, and ensuring a supportive, inclusive, and engaging online classroom experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Language Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to explain Malayalam concepts clearly to diverse learners.
- Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Education, including designing structured, goal-oriented lesson plans and learning activities.
- Candidates should possess a solid grounding in Malayalam Literature and culture to enrich classes with contextual examples and reading materials.
- Fluency in Malayalam (native or near-native) and positive command of English or another Indian language for effective communication with learners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Malayalam, Linguistics, or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in online teaching or tutoring, with comfort using video conferencing tools and digital learning platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to create an inclusive, encouraging learning environment for learners of all backgrounds.
