We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead to lead the technical development of the Platform Modernization Project for Investment Bank . This is a critical role that will drive the modernization and digital transformation initiatives for Bank's technology platform, leveraging cloud-native architecture and microservices.
Responsibilities:
- Define technical standards and best practices for backend development using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related technologies
- Lead code reviews and establish coding standards to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance
- Ensure on-time delivery of technical components while maintaining quality standards
- Manage technical risks and provide mitigation strategies to stakeholders
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, Operations, and Infrastructure
- Drive the adoption of CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies
Mandatory Skills Description:
- 12+ years of software development experience with Java
- 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership or architect role
- Must have worked in Platform Modernization/Migration Project for Financial Services or Banking industry
- Java Development - Robust backend Java skills in Microservices, Spring Boot, Collections, Low Latency , Multithreading, and Concurrency
- Infrastructure & DevOps
- Deployment processes and how to deploy code to servers
- Server connectivity and management
- Basic system resource management (RAM, CPU allocation)
- Containerization (Kubernetes, Podman)
- Pipeline creation and CI/CD processes
- Experience in Azure
