Role Description The Housekeeping Supervisor at THE BIG BARBEQUE is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru. This role oversees daily housekeeping operations across guest and back-of-house areas, ensuring all spaces are clean, well-maintained, and aligned with hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities include planning work schedules, assigning tasks to housekeeping and laundry team members, inspecting completed work, and coordinating replenishment of supplies and linen. The supervisor collaborates closely with restaurant management and service teams to support smooth operations, respond promptly to guest requests or concerns,



and maintain a welcoming environment. The role also involves training team members, monitoring performance, and helping implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess solid Housekeeping skills, with a focus on cleaning standards, hygiene protocols, and attention to detail.
- Candidates should possess Laundry skills, including handling linens, stain treatment, and efficient laundering processes.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Prior experience as a housekeeping supervisor or senior housekeeping staff in restaurants, hotels, or hospitality settings.
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and infection-control practices relevant to food and beverage environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on restaurant operations.
- Basic computer literacy for scheduling, reporting, and inventory tracking; familiarity with housekeeping checklists and SOPs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related certification or training is an added advantage.
