About The Role The Gas Turbine Inquiry to Remittance (ITR) Engineer within GE Vernova’s Gas Power business is a pivotal engineering position responsible for providing comprehensive technical support throughout the lifecycle of gas turbine projects. This role involves leading the technical aspects of inquiries, proposals, conversions, modifications, and upgrades of in-service gas turbines, ensuring alignment with customer needs and project timelines. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, commercial, project management, sourcing, and field service, to develop and deliver innovative solutions that optimize turbine performance and reliability.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college. A minimum of 8 years of engineering experience or field experience working with gas turbines, particularly GE heavy-duty models, is required. Candidates should demonstrate a strong technical background,



with hands-on experience in gas turbine operations, upgrades, and maintenance.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is essential to support global projects and customer engagements. The candidate should also possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, along with the ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed, global environment. A proactive approach, leadership qualities, and a passion for continuous improvement are highly valued.

Responsibilities

- Define optimal gas turbine upgrade solutions, auxiliaries, and control systems to meet customer technical needs during the inquiry-to-remittance process, ensuring timely delivery aligned with proposal deadlines.
- Own and coordinate technical activities related to conversions, modifications, and upgrades (CM&U;) of in-service gas turbines and associated balance-of-plant (BOP) mechanical and electrical systems.
- Provide comprehensive technical support for proposals and projects from initial inquiry through to project completion, ensuring technical accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Drive initiatives to reduce the cost of quality issues associated with CM&U; activities, promoting efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and enhance analytical tools and processes to improve project execution and technical support capabilities.
- Communicate complex project solutions clearly and effectively to internal teams and external customers, fostering transparency and understanding.
- Represent GE Vernova at industry conferences, customer meetings, and industry forums, showcasing technical expertise and strengthening customer relationships.
- Leverage market knowledge and understanding of customer economic value to develop winning bid strategies and solutions.
- Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and GE’s differentiators to support strategic positioning.

- Collaborate with sales, engineering, sourcing, quality, field service, and project management teams to develop integrated solutions that meet customer expectations.
