About the RoleDirect AI-produced content for an American audience. Own the creative quality from script and shot planning through final editing and sound. Ensure the content hooks viewers and keeps them engaged from beginning to end.

Responsibilities

- Break scripts into scenes and shots. Define framing, camera angles, lighting, character positions, action and performance.
- Review character, location and prop references, along with anchor frames, before production.
- Give artists clear direction, review footage and provide precise correction notes.
- Maintain story flow, screen direction, eyelines and continuity.
- Choose AI models and approaches based on each shot’s needs and the models’ strengths and limits.
- Coordinate with and instruct the Senior Editor and SFX Artist on pacing, cuts, transitions, music and sound effects.
- Review and approve the complete creative output, ensuring the visuals, editing and sound keep viewers engaged.
- Flag missing assets,



unclear inputs and creative problems to the Pod Manager early.

Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in cinematography.
- 5+ years of directing experience, with relevant work in TV series, movies or microdramas.
- At least 1 year of hands-on AI production experience.
- Working knowledge of AI models, including Seedance 2.0 and 2.5: their strengths, weaknesses, suitable uses and common limitations.
- Solid knowledge of composition, lighting, shot design, blocking, the 180-degree rule and visual continuity.
- Ability to build emotion, tension and strong hooks through direction, editing and sound.
- Strong English skills to understand scripts, dialogue, tone and context for an American audience.
- A directing portfolio and the ability to explain your contribution and creative decisions.

Preferred
- Experience directing complete end to end AI projects and long-form storytelling productions.
- Effective use of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar AI tools for script breakdowns, shot planning and problem-solving.
