About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Staff DevOps Engineer / Cloud Platform Architect with expertise in Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps).

The ideal candidate will lead enterprise cloud transformation, build scalable cloud-native platforms, modernize CI/CD processes, and implement AI-driven operational capabilities to improve system reliability, observability, incident response, and infrastructure efficiency.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring strong architecture, automation, cloud governance, and engineering enablement experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Azure Cloud Architecture & Transformation

- Design and implement enterprise Azure Landing Zones and cloud governance frameworks.

- Lead large-scale migrations from on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure.
- Architect enterprise AKS platforms supporting multiple applications and environments.
- Implement Azure networking, Key Vault, Container Registry, storage, and security services.
- Drive cloud modernization, infrastructure optimization, and cloud adoption strategies.

2. Platform Engineering & CI/CD Modernization

- Design enterprise CI/CD platforms using GitHub Enterprise Cloud and GitHub Actions.

- Develop reusable CI/CD frameworks for Java, .NET, Node.js, and Python applications.
- Establish enterprise SDLC standards, branching strategies, and release governance.
- Implement automated build, testing, security scanning, artifact management, and deployment workflows.
- Modernize legacy DevOps platforms and improve developer productivity.

Kubernetes, GitOps & Infrastructure Automation

- Architect and manage multi-cluster Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.

- Implement GitOps using ArgoCD, Helm, and Kubernetes.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and Infrastructure as Code standards.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and application deployments.
- Establish platform scalability, reliability, and operational best practices.

4. AIOps & Intelligent IT Operations

- Design and implement AIOps capabilities to improve cloud operations, observability, and service reliability.

- Leverage machine learning and AI-driven analytics for anomaly detection, event correlation, and predictive incident identification.
- Integrate AIOps capabilities with monitoring and observability platforms such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
- Implement intelligent alert correlation, noise reduction, and incident prioritization.
- Develop automated incident response and self-healing infrastructure workflows.
- Apply AI-assisted root-cause analysis to accelerate incident diagnosis and resolution.
- Implement predictive capacity planning and infrastructure performance optimization.
- Integrate AIOps solutions with ITSM and incident management platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or PagerDuty.
- Explore Generative AI and LLM-based operational assistants for incident summarization, troubleshooting, and runbook automation.
- Establish measurable improvements in Mean Time to Detect (MTTD), Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR), availability, and operational efficiency.

5. DevSecOps & Cloud Security

- Integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Advanced Security, CodeQL, and JFrog Xray.

- Implement container security, vulnerability management, and software supply chain controls.
- Establish secure infrastructure deployment and cloud governance practices.
- Automate compliance validation and security controls within DevOps workflows.
- Implement IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and secure cloud architecture standards.





- Site Reliability Engineering & Observability

- Define and implement SRE practices, SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
- Build centralized observability across applications, infrastructure, and Kubernetes platforms.
- Implement distributed tracing, log aggregation, metrics monitoring, and intelligent alerting.
- Lead production incident response, root-cause analysis, and disaster recovery planning.
- Improve platform availability, operational resilience, and cost efficiency.

7. Technical Leadership & Engineering Enablement

- Provide technical leadership for cloud, DevOps, AIOps, and platform engineering initiatives.

- Define enterprise architecture and engineering standards.
- Mentor engineers and conduct technical architecture reviews.
- Collaborate with development, security, infrastructure, and operations teams.
- Evaluate emerging AI-powered engineering and operational technologies.

Required Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Platform Engineering.

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, AKS, and cloud-native architecture.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, and enterprise CI/CD frameworks.
- Advanced Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
- Strong Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps/ArgoCD expertise.
- Practical experience implementing or integrating AIOps solutions in enterprise environments.
- Experience with AI-driven monitoring, anomaly detection, event correlation, or automated incident response.
- Experience with observability platforms and monitoring integrations.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and cloud security.
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise platforms.
- Solid troubleshooting, architectural decision-making, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).

- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or LLM-based operational automation.
- Experience with Dynatrace Davis AI, Datadog Watchdog, Splunk ITSI, or similar AIOps technologies.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Application Insights.
- Experience with Python-based operational automation and AI/ML integrations.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or PagerDuty.
- Experience in insurance, banking, financial services, or other regulated enterprise environments.
