About the Role
We are looking for a dentist who is as comfortable on a video call as they are in the chair. In this role, you will run teleconsultations with international patients, review their dental records, X-rays, and treatment goals, and give them a clear clinical opinion. You will then guide them through the treatment plan, the estimated cost, and the partner clinic we recommend, so they can make a confident decision.
This is a clinically credible, patient-facing role with a consultative sales element. If you enjoy explaining treatment options, building trust quickly and helping people say yes to the right plan, you will do well here.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct video teleconsultations with international patients seeking dental treatment abroad (implants, full-mouth rehabilitation, veneers, crowns, smile makeovers, orthodontics, root canals, and more).
- Review patient-submitted OPGs, X-rays, photos, and dental history, and assess case complexity.
- Draft a preliminary treatment plan and explain it in plain, reassuring language.
- Present estimated pricing, treatment packages and the recommended partner hospital or clinic, explaining why it suits the patient's case, budget and travel plans.
- Handle patient questions and objections on cost, quality, safety, travel, duration of stay and aftercare, honestly and without pressure.
- Follow up with undecided patients and help move them towards a confirmed booking.
- Coordinate with partner clinics on case feasibility, treatment timelines, and pricing queries.
- Work closely with our patient coordination and sales teams to ensure a smooth handover after consultation.
- Document every consultation accurately in our in-house CRM.
- Maintain high standards of clinical ethics, patient confidentiality, and data privacy at all times.
- Share feedback on common patient concerns and case patterns to help us improve our process and content.
Who You Are:
Must have
- BDS (MDS is a plus) with a valid dental registration in India.
- Years of clinical experience in general or multi-specialty dentistry (to confirm).
- Strong command of English, spoken and written, with a clear, warm, and confident communication style.
- Comfort with video consultations and with explaining clinical concepts to non-clinical people.
- Willingness to discuss pricing and recommend a clinic as part of the consultation. You see this as part of helping the patient, not as a distraction from medicine.
- Robust working knowledge of restorative, implant, and cosmetic dentistry.
- Ability to work flexible hours to match patient time zones (US, UK, Australia, GCC and Europe).
Good to have
- Prior experience in teleconsultations, patient counseling, or treatment-plan sales at a dental chain or clinic.
- Experience with international patients or dental tourism.
- Additional languages (Arabic, German, or others).
- Familiarity with CRM tools and structured consultation workflows.
What Makes You Great in This Role
- You build trust within the first five minutes of a call.
- You are persuasive and never pushy. Patients leave the call feeling informed, not sold to.
- You are calm with anxious patients and patient with detailed questions.
- You are comfortable with targets and take ownership of conversion outcomes.
- You are organized and quick to follow up.
