Role Description The Cybersecurity Architect role at Infosys Finacle is a full-time, hybrid position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, with flexibility for partial work from home. The role involves designing and maintaining robust security architectures for digital banking platforms and cloud-native solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and organizational policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting security assessments, reviewing application and network designs, defining security controls, and collaborating with product, engineering, and operations teams to embed security into solution development and deployment.

The Cybersecurity

Architect will also support threat modeling, risk analysis, and remediation planning, as well as contribute to security governance, compliance initiatives, and incident response improvements. Additionally, the role involves creating security documentation,



guidelines, and best practices, and mentoring teams on secure design and implementation.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Security Architecture Design and Information Security, with the ability to develop secure, scalable solutions for cloud-native and on-premises environments.
- Hands-on experience in Application Security, including secure software development practices, code review, threat modeling, and integration of security tools into the SDLC.
- Proficiency in Cybersecurity concepts such as threat detection, vulnerability management, risk assessment, and security monitoring in complex, distributed systems.
- Solid background in Network Security, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, segmentation, and secure network design.
- Knowledge of banking or financial services environments, including regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, data protection laws).
- Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), container security, and identity and access management (IAM).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent are highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
