Role Description The Commercial Executive – Air & Sea Freight is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for managing commercial activities related to air and sea freight, including preparing and reviewing quotations, coordinating pricing with partners, and supporting negotiations with customers and agents. The role involves tracking and following up on inquiries, leads, and existing shipments to ensure timely responses and accurate information.

The Commercial

Executive will collaborate closely with operations and finance teams to align commercial terms, support invoicing and payment follow-up,



and maintain up-to-date records and reports. Daily responsibilities also include handling customer and agent communication, addressing service-related queries, and contributing to business development initiatives within the freight forwarding domain.

Qualifications

- Strong commercial and commercial management skills, with experience in air and sea freight or logistics environments.
- Proficiency in structured following up on leads, quotations, and shipments, ensuring timely closure of commercial activities.
- Effective communication abilities for clear, skilled interaction with customers, agents, and internal teams.
- Customer service skills focused on responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining long-term business relationships.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding processes, shipment documentation, and basic pricing principles is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with using ERP systems, CRM tools, and standard office software (e.g., MS Excel, Word, email).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, commerce, business administration, or a related field preferred.
