Role Overview The Business Development Associate bridges engineering insight with commercial growth. This role focuses on understanding client operations, translating technical requirements into value-driven solutions, and supporting revenue generation across industrial segments. You will work closely with the Support team and clients to position the right products, demonstrate technical value, and build long-term customer partnerships.

Think of this role as part consultant, part growth catalyst, and part relationship architect.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with industrial clients to understand operational challenges and application requirements.
- Provide technical consultation and recommend optimal mechanical and electromechanical engineering solutions.
- Support the sales team with pre-sales engineering expertise, product positioning, and solution design.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase application-specific value.
- Respond proactively to client queries, offering practical and commercially viable recommendations.




- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and account growth.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new business development within existing accounts.

Qualifications & Skills

- Proven ability in sales engineering or technical sales within industrial environments.
- Hands-on experience addressing customer queries and delivering application-focused solutions.
- Working knowledge of Mechanical or Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering principles relevant to industrial products.
- Strong communication and analytical skills to translate technical complexity into transparent customer value.
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical education preferred.
- Prior exposure to industrial sales, solution consulting, or product support is a strong advantage.
