ABOUT VADIVAM®

VADIVAM® began in 2013 as a freelance creative practice and was incorporated in 2018. Over 13 years, we've delivered 200+ brand projects, built a strong network of creative collaborators and partners, and worked across a wide range of creative disciplines.

We are now entering a deliberate new phase: repositioning VADIVAM® as a premium brand identity design agency for established enterprises, founder-led and multi-generational businesses — moving away from being seen as a general branding, logo or digital creative agency.

THE TEAM AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

This phase is being built with a focused, lean team that will grow with the studio. You would work alongside identity designers, an editor and our marketing team, in-office.

- Role type: Full-time, in-office
- Working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Location: Chennai (near Teynampet Metro)
- Saturdays: alternate Saturdays off; the monthly office calendar is shared in advance
- Detailed policies are shared at the final stage of joining

As we build through this phase, we're structuring resources carefully to create an efficient, sustainable team. The environment is focused and cooperative, with real ownership and a direct hand in shaping how the studio evolves.

ROLE AT A GLANCE

- Role: Brand Identity Designer
- Experience: 2–4 years in Brand Identity Design
- Location: Chennai — studio-based, full-time
- Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000/month fixed

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Design logos, marks and complete identity systems
- Write and present design rationale to business leaders




- Produce brand guidelines to institutional standards
- Collaborate on rollout work with designers and motion collaborators

APPLY ONLY IF YOU HAVE ALL OF THESE

- 2–4 years of hands-on brand identity work — not only campaigns or social media
- At least 3 identity projects where you led or co-led the mark and system
- A strong command of typography and form
- Fluency in Adobe Illustrator and industry-standard tools across the identity process
- The ability to explain your design decisions clearly in writing

THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF

- Your portfolio is mainly social media posts, campaign creatives or trend-led visuals
- Your experience is mainly in UI, UX or product design
- You're looking for remote or freelance work

WHAT WE OFFER

- Fixed monthly salary
- Joining bonus of 50% of your agreed monthly salary, paid with your first month's salary
- A structured review at 3 months, probation confirmation at 6 months and a retention bonus at 12 months
- Premium identity engagements for established enterprises
- Direct mentorship in brand strategy and creative direction FOR CANDIDATES IN OUR SELECTION PROCESS
- An honorarium for assessment tasks, paid on completion of the selection round
- An interview incentive for candidates shortlisted for the final round
