We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented BIM QA/QC Analyst to ensure that all architectural BIM models, drawings, and documentation meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance before being delivered to clients.

Key Responsibilities1. BIM Quality Assurance &

- Quality Control

- Perform detailed quality checks on architectural BIM models and documentation produced using Autodesk Revit.
- Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Identify modelling errors, documentation discrepancies, coordination issues, and missing information.
- Ensure that all deliverables comply with established BIM standards, client requirements, and project-specific documentation guidelines.
- Establish and maintain QA/QC checklists for different project stages.

Architectural Documentation

Review
- Review architectural documentation across various project stages, including:
- Development Application (DA)
- Design Development (DD)
- Preliminary Documentation
- Tender Documentation
- Issued for Construction (IFC)
- Verify floor plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, annotations, dimensions, and sheet coordination.
- Ensure consistency between drawings, models, schedules, and specifications.
- Review documentation for compliance with relevant Australian building codes, NCC requirements, and applicable Australian Standards.
- Identify constructability issues and potential design or documentation conflicts.

3. BIM Model Auditing & • Coordination
- Conduct regular audits of Revit models for model health, file structure, naming conventions, and modelling standards.
- Review model organisation, worksets, families, parameters, linked models,



and documentation setup.
- Identify clashes and coordination discrepancies between architectural, structural, and MEP models.
- Use Navisworks and other BIM coordination tools where required.
- Ensure modelling accuracy appropriate to the project's specified Level of Development (LOD).

• Corrective Actions
- Prepare QA/QC reports identifying errors, observations, and required corrections.
- Categorise issues based on severity, priority, and impact on project deliverables.
- Coordinate with BIM architects and project leads to resolve identified issues.
- Verify corrections before approving documentation for client submission.
- Track recurring errors and recommend preventive measures.
- Maintain records of internal quality reviews, client markups, and corrective actions.

5. Team Training & • Quality Improvement
- Provide technical feedback and guidance to BIM architects and documentation teams.
- Identify knowledge gaps and conduct training sessions to improve documentation standards.
- Develop standardised QA/QC procedures and best practices.
- Analyse client feedback and implement measures to minimise repeated errors.
- Work closely with project leads to improve team productivity without compromising quality.

Required Skills & • Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or a relevant qualification in architectural design or construction.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural BIM modelling and documentation, preferably with quality control responsibilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting, detailing, construction methods, and documentation practices.




- Experience reviewing Australian architectural projects and familiarity with the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards.
- Ability to independently review complete architectural drawing packages.
- Strong knowledge of BIM workflows, documentation standards, and model coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and technical communication.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with Australian architecture firms.
- Experience in retail, commercial, hospitality, and fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM information management principles.
- Experience developing BIM QA/QC checklists and standard operating procedures.
- Familiarity with automated Revit model auditing, Dynamo, and BIM validation tools.
- Experience mentoring junior architects or BIM modellers.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Performance will be assessed based on:
1. First-Time Quality: Percentage of drawing packages approved during initial QC review.
2. Client Markup Reduction: Reduction in technical errors and repeat observations from clients.
3. Documentation Accuracy: Accuracy and completeness of architectural drawings and BIM models.
4. QC Turnaround Time: Timely completion of quality reviews without affecting project deadlines.
5. Corrective Action Closure: Timely identification, tracking, and verification of corrections.
6. Process Improvement: Implementation of preventive measures, quality standards, and team training.
