Role: Automation Architect

Experience Range: 10 to 15 Years

Location: Pan India

Must Have:

- experience in QA, test engineering, or automation.
- Solid experience designing enterprise-level automation frameworks.
- Hands-on expertise with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience with UI, API, cross-browser, regression, and end-to-end automation.
- Experience defining test automation strategy and architecture.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and provide architectural guidance to automation teams.

Essential: Automation Architecture & Strategy

- Define the overall test automation architecture and strategy for enterprise applications.
- Design scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
- Establish automation standards, coding practices, and framework governance.
- Conduct technical and architectural design reviews.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, reliability, and maintainability.




- Provide technical direction to automation engineers and development teams.

Playwright Framework Development

- Architect and develop automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Develop automation solutions using TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
- Build reusable components, utilities, fixtures, page objects, and test libraries.
- Implement UI, functional, regression, and end-to-end automation.
- Implement cross-browser testing using Playwright.
- Develop and maintain API automation/testing capabilities.
- Troubleshoot framework, script, and execution issues.

Enterprise Automation

- Define automation approaches for complex enterprise applications.
- Integrate automation frameworks with APIs and external systems where required.
- Guide teams on framework implementation and test design.
- Drive standardization and reuse across automation projects.
- Support automation reporting and test execution analysis.

Technical Leadership

- Mentor automation engineers on Playwright and automation best practices.
- Review automation code and framework enhancements.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Evaluate automation approaches and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Participate in solution architecture and technical discussions.

Minimum Qualification:

- 15 years of full-time education
- Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
