Role Description The Area Lead – Consumer Durable and Gold Loans is a full-time, on-site role based in Vijayawada. This role is responsible for driving business growth for consumer durable and gold loan products across the assigned area, including planning and executing sales strategies to achieve branch and regional targets.

The Area

Lead will monitor branch performance, support branch teams in meeting productivity and quality benchmarks, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Day-to-day activities include analyzing market potential, guiding teams on lead generation and customer acquisition, reviewing portfolio health,



and implementing initiatives to improve customer retention and service standards. The role also involves coordinating with regional leadership, providing regular performance reports, and mentoring staff to enhance skills and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong background in retail lending or financial services, preferably in gold loans, consumer durable loans, or related products.
- Proven ability in area/branch management, including business development, sales planning, and target achievement.
- Experience in team leadership, staff coaching, and performance management across multiple locations.
- Solid understanding of customer service principles, with a focus on semi-urban and rural markets.
- Ability to analyze financial and operational data, prepare reports, and take data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial services sector.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and customers.
- Comfortable with field work, branch visits, and market interactions within the assigned geography.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related discipline; an MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a similar area lead/area manager role in NBFCs, banks, or lending institutions is highly beneficial.
