About the Role

Mistry Marketing is looking for an experienced Accountant to support the accounting and financial operations of a well-established U.S.-based eCommerce brand.

We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, experience working with U.S. accounting processes, excellent attention to detail, and good English communication skills.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with invoices, customer payments, bank and payment gateway reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable, transaction verification, and financial reporting.

Experience with Odoo Accounting will be a strong additional advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for a U.S.-based eCommerce business.
- Create, review, and maintain customer invoices and payment records.
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and verify financial transactions.
- Reconcile payments received through payment gateways and banking channels.
- Review transactions for missing payments, duplicate entries, outstanding balances, refunds, and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Monitor customer payments and outstanding invoices.
- Assist with payment matching and invoice reconciliation.
- Review journals, ledgers, payment records, and account balances.




- Help maintain clean and accurate financial data within the accounting system.
- Prepare accounting reports and summaries for management review.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding orders, invoices, payments, refunds, and financial discrepancies.
- Support month-end accounting and reconciliation activities.
- Follow established accounting processes and internal SOPs.
- Assist with U.S. accounting and compliance-related workflows under appropriate company and professional guidance.
- Communicate professionally with U.S.-based management and team members.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of skilled accounting experience.
- Good understanding of U.S. accounting practices, processes, and terminology.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliation, invoicing, AR/AP, and financial record management.
- Experience handling bank and payment reconciliations.
- Good understanding of eCommerce-related financial transactions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate transactions independently.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating with U.S.-based clients and management.




- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Added AdvantageExperience with Odoo Accounting will be highly preferred. Additional experience with any of the following would also be valuable: eCommerce accounting, payment gateways such as Stripe, bank reconciliation, ERP/accounting software, customer invoice management, refunds/disputes, and U.S.-based business accounting operations.

Important Work RequirementThis is a 100% on-site position in Ahmedabad. Remote and hybrid work options are not available for this role.
