- Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Malappuram. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, including recording day-to-day financial transactions, preparing journal entries, and reconciling bank and ledger accounts. Daily tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and payments, and supporting payroll calculations and statutory deductions. The role involves preparing periodic financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with local tax laws and reporting requirements.



The Accountant will collaborate with management to provide financial insights, support audits, and implement effective internal controls and process improvements.
- Qualifications
- Strong foundation in general accounting principles, including ledger management, journal entries, and reconciliation.
- Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, billing, and expense tracking with accuracy.
- Experience preparing financial statements, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis.
- Knowledge of local taxation rules, statutory compliance, and familiarity with audit processes.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel).
- Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in office.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred; entry-level candidates with strong fundamentals may be considered.
