Role Description The 65 W GaN Charger Development Engineer will design, develop, and optimize GaN-based power adapters for the Vibetex product line. This full-time, on-site role in Chennai involves creating circuit architectures, selecting components, and performing simulations and calculations to meet performance, safety, and efficiency targets. The engineer will build and test prototypes, analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and refine designs through iterative R&D.;

Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing technical documentation, supporting compliance with relevant standards,



and working with manufacturing partners to ensure smooth product integration and production.

Qualifications

- Strong Research and Development (R&D;) skills with experience in power electronics or GaN-based charger design.
- Software Development and Programming skills for simulation tools, embedded control, or test automation.
- Hands-on Testing experience, including validation, reliability testing, and performance characterization of electronic hardware.
- Solid foundation in Electronics, including circuit design, PCB layout understanding, power conversion topologies, and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with GaN devices, SMPS design, and relevant international safety and EMI/EMC standards is highly beneficial.
- Ability to interpret datasheets, schematics, and measurement results, and document findings clearly.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-based workplace in Chennai.
