About Timescan Logistics

Timescan Logistics operates in the shipping and logistics industry, providing logistics solutions to its customers. We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our Bangalore branch, drive business growth, manage branch operations, and build strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Branch Operations

- Oversee the overall functioning and day-to-day operations of the Bangalore branch.
- Ensure smooth coordination across sales, customer service, documentation, and operations teams.
- Monitor operational efficiency, service quality, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely execution of customer shipments and resolution of operational issues.

2. Team Management

- Lead, motivate, and manage the branch team to achieve business objectives.
- Set individual and team targets, monitor performance, and provide guidance.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of employees.
- Foster a professional, collaborative, and performance-oriented work environment.

3. Customer Relationship Management

- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new accounts.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Work closely with internal teams to provide reliable and efficient logistics solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and service standards.

Reporting & Compliance

- Submit regular reports on sales, revenue, profitability, operations, and team performance to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements and company policies.
- Review key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions wherever necessary.

Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum 10 years experience in Business Administration, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
- Proven experience in branch management, sales management, or business operations within the shipping, freight forwarding or logistics
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, customer management, business development, and branch profitability.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Branch revenue growth and profitability.
- New customer acquisition and existing customer retention.
- Achievement of sales and business development targets.
- Operational efficiency and customer service quality.
- Timely billing, collections, and reduction of outstanding receivables.
- Employee productivity and team performance.

Compensation

₹7 LPA – ₹15 LPA, depending on relevant industry experience, proven business development capabilities, leadership skills, and overall suitability for the position.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with a solid track record in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics along with experience in business development and branch operations, are preferred.
