Build the financial intelligence behind a growing F&B; brand. Grow into a future CFO.
About the Opportunity
At Amadora, we believe finance is more than accounting — it is about understanding the business, anticipating challenges, identifying opportunities and enabling smarter decisions.
We are looking for a commercially minded, analytical and ambitious Chartered Accountant to join us as Financial Controller and work closely with management to drive financial visibility, profitability and sustainable business growth.
This is an opportunity for a finance professional who wants to move beyond traditional accounting and take ownership of business performance, financial planning and strategic decision-making, with a clear growth pathway towards the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Your Mission
Turn financial data into business decisions.
You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely MIS reports, analysing outlet-wise and overall business performance, identifying financial risks and opportunities, and advising management on the right numbers to drive profitability and growth.
We are looking for someone who does not simply report what happened, but explains why it happened, what it means for the business, and what management should do next.
Key Responsibilities1. MIS Reporting & Business Performance Analysis
- Prepare and present accurate, timely and insightful daily, weekly and monthly financial MIS reports.
- Develop outlet-wise, region-wise and consolidated Profit & Loss (P&L;) reports to provide transparent visibility into business performance.
- Track key financial indicators, including revenue, gross margins, food costs, operating expenses, EBITDA, cash flow and profitability.
- Compare actual performance against budgets, forecasts and targets, highlighting variances and their root causes.
- Establish a structured reporting calendar and ensure management receives the right information at the right time.
- Convert financial data into actionable insights, recommendations and management dashboards.
2. Strategic Financial Advisory to Management
- Work closely with the MD and management team to support financial and operational decision-making.
- Recommend the right financial targets, budgets, cost benchmarks and profitability parameters for the business.
- Identify margin leakages, cost inefficiencies and opportunities to improve outlet-level profitability.
- Provide financial analysis for new outlet launches, expansion plans, pricing decisions, investments and business initiatives.
- Develop financial forecasts, cash-flow projections, budgets and scenario analyses to support business planning.
- Proactively highlight financial risks and recommend corrective actions rather than merely reporting historical results.
3. Outlet & Franchise Financial Management
- Monitor financial performance across company-operated outlets and franchise operations.
- Ensure accurate franchisee billing, revenue reconciliation, collections tracking and settlement processes.
- Analyse outlet-level performance to identify profitable, underperforming and loss-making locations.
- Track food costs, inventory variances, wastage, discounts and other key cost drivers in coordination with operations.
- Support management with financial assessments of outlet expansion, franchise economics and return on investment.
4. Financial Controls, Accounting & Compliance
- Lead and coordinate the accounts team to ensure accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations and timely month-end closure.
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure the integrity of financial statements and management reports.
- Oversee GST, TDS, statutory filings, audit coordination and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor receivables, payables, working capital and cash-flow requirements.
- Ensure financial processes are documented, efficient, transparent and scalable as the business grows.
5. Finance Systems & Process Improvement
- Lead the implementation and optimisation of finance ERP and reporting systems alongside existing platforms such as Petpooja and Tally.
- Improve the accuracy, consistency and automation of financial data and MIS reporting.
- Establish standardised financial reporting formats, dashboards, controls and review mechanisms.
- Build scalable finance processes that support a growing multi-outlet and franchise-led business.
6. Leadership & Growth Towards CFO
- Develop the finance function from a reporting and compliance-oriented team into a strategic business partner.
- Strengthen financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management capabilities.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to management with clarity and confidence.
- Progressively take ownership of broader finance strategy, business planning and financial governance based on demonstrated performance.
