About Alttred Nexxus

Alttred Nexxus is a creative studio bringing strategy, design, development, and production under one roof. We work with brands across industries to create compelling digital experiences, performance creatives, and video content that drives results.

We're looking for a Video Production Manager who can take ownership of the entire video production workflow, from receiving client briefs to delivering final, approved videos.

You'll work directly with clients, manage deliverables, coordinate an extended team of 8–10 in-house and freelance video editors, and ensure projects are delivered on time without compromising creative quality.

This role is ideal for someone who understands video editing, enjoys managing people, communicates confidently with clients, and can keep multiple projects moving without letting deliverables fall through the cracks.

What You'll Do1. Team Management & Leadership

- Coordinate and manage the workflow of 8–10 in-house and freelance video editors.
- Allocate deliverables based on project priorities, editor capabilities, availability, and deadlines.
- Translate client briefs into clear editing instructions and communicate expectations to the respective editors.
- Track daily output and ensure editors complete their assigned deliverables within the committed timelines.
- Review edits, provide constructive feedback, and maintain consistent quality standards across the team.
- Manage the workload and availability of freelance editors alongside the in-house team.
- Identify bottlenecks, resolve workflow issues, and ensure the team operates efficiently.
- Hold team members accountable for deadlines, quality, and timely communication.

2. Client Communication & Coordination

- Act as a key point of contact for clients regarding video production and deliverables.
- Understand client briefs, requirements, creative expectations, and delivery timelines.
- Communicate project progress, delivery commitments, and pending requirements proactively.
- Follow up with clients for timely feedback, reviews, and approvals.
- Translate client feedback into actionable instructions for the editing team.
- Coordinate revisions and ensure requested changes are completed within agreed timelines.
- Proactively identify potential delays, clarify ambiguous briefs, and resolve issues before they affect delivery.
- Ensure clients have clear visibility into the status of their projects and deliverables.

3. Project & Workflow Management

- Own the complete video production workflow, from receiving client briefs to coordinating edits, managing revisions, and delivering final videos.
- Track deliverables, deadlines, revision cycles, approvals, and pending feedback across multiple client accounts.
- Ensure smooth coordination between clients, internal teams, and in-house and freelance editors.
- Maintain transparent project trackers so every deliverable has an assigned editor, deadline, and status.

- Prioritise tasks based on urgency, client commitments, team capacity, and campaign requirements.
- Ensure projects don't get delayed because of poor communication, unclear ownership, or a lack of follow-ups.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution across campaigns.
- Take ownership of delivery commitments and ensure all projects progress as planned.

4. Video Editing & Creative Quality

- Have a strong understanding of video editing, storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound design, and visual composition.
- Understand creative briefs and assess whether edits meet the client's objectives.
- Review deliverables before they are shared with clients and ensure they meet the expected quality standards.
- Provide clear creative feedback to editors to improve the final output.
- Stay updated on social media trends, performance marketing creatives, and AI-powered video creation tools.
- Step in to edit or troubleshoot videos when required, while maintaining ownership of team coordination and project delivery.

What Your Usual Day Looks Like

This role is about managing the entire delivery pipeline, not just editing videos or assigning tasks.

- Coordinate with clients: Receive briefs, understand requirements, confirm deliverables, and align on expectations and timelines.
- Delegate work: Break down briefs into clear tasks and assign deliverables to the appropriate in-house or freelance editors.
- Manage the production workflow: Coordinate between clients, internal teams, and editors to keep every project moving from brief to final delivery.
- Track daily output: Check progress and ensure every editor completes their assigned daily deliverables.
- Follow up on feedback and approvals: Ensure clients review deliverables and provide feedback on time so projects don't remain stuck.
- Manage revisions: Communicate requested changes to the respective editors, track progress, and ensure revised videos are submitted within the agreed timelines.
- Resolve bottlenecks: Address delays, unclear briefs, workload imbalances, and pending approvals before they affect delivery.
- Quality-check deliverables: Ensure videos meet creative expectations and client requirements before final submission.
- Close the loop: Confirm that deliverables have been shared, feedback has been addressed, and approvals or next steps are clearly tracked.

What We're Looking For

- 2–5 years of professional experience in video editing, video production, creative project management, or a similar role within an agency or production environment.
- Strong practical understanding of video editing and production workflows.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent editing software.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deliverables simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate people, delegate work, track tasks, and hold team members accountable.
- Experience managing freelancers or distributed creative teams is a strong advantage.
- Confidence in handling client feedback, revisions, expectations, and delivery commitments.
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to anticipate problems and resolve them independently.
- The ability to balance creative quality with timelines, team productivity, and client satisfaction.

Good to Have

- Experience working with D2C, e-commerce, hospitality, or other consumer-facing brands.
- Experience managing performance marketing ads and social-first video content.
- Familiarity with AI-powered video creation and editing tools.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts and high-volume video production workflows.
- Experience coordinating both in-house and freelance editors.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or Notion.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Your performance will primarily be evaluated on how smoothly, efficiently, and reliably you manage the entire video production workflow.

- On-time delivery: Deliverables are completed and shared within committed timelines.
- Daily team productivity: Editors consistently complete their assigned deliverables.
- Workflow efficiency: Projects move smoothly between clients, internal teams, and editors without avoidable bottlenecks.
- Feedback and approvals: Client feedback and approvals are followed up on promptly and tracked effectively.
- Revision turnaround: Client-requested changes are communicated clearly and completed within agreed timelines.
- Communication and accountability: Clients receive proactive updates, while editors have clear briefs, priorities, and deadlines.
- Creative quality: Final deliverables meet the expected standards before being shared with clients.
- Ownership: Deliverables don't fall through the cracks, and potential delays are identified and addressed proactively.

The key expectation is simple: clients shouldn't have to chase the team, editors shouldn't be confused about their tasks, and deliverables shouldn't get delayed because of poor coordination.

Location & Work Arrangement

- Location: Bommanahalli, Bangalore.
- Work Mode: Hybrid, with at least 3 days a week working from the office.
- Candidates must be based in Bangalore or be willing to relocate and comfortably commute to Bommanahalli three days a week.
