Responsibilities:

IBM Guardium DAM Operations, Monitoring & Compliance Management

- Administer, maintain, and ensure the availability, stability, and performance of the IBM Guardium DAM platform.
- Perform routine platform health checks, capacity monitoring, upgrades, patching, backup, recovery, and operational maintenance activities.
- Monitor database activities through Guardium dashboards, reports, audit trails, and monitoring controls.
- Manage and maintain integration between IBM Guardium DAM and Google SecOps SIEM to ensure continuous forwarding and visibility of database security events.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize monitoring policies, exception rules, alerting mechanisms, and privileged user monitoring controls.
- Review, analyze, and investigate security alerts, policy violations, suspicious database activities, unauthorized access attempts, and anomalous user behavior.
- Conduct event analysis, root cause investigations, and incident resolution using Guardium logs and audit records, ensuring proper documentation and closure.
- Fine-tune policies and alert thresholds to improve monitoring effectiveness and reduce false positives.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Guardium S-TAP/K-TAP agents across supported database environments.
- Implement approved policy modifications in line with business,



security, and regulatory requirements.
- Generate operational, compliance, and audit reports, dashboards, and evidence required for internal, external, and regulatory audits.
- Ensure database monitoring controls remain aligned with organizational security standards, governance requirements, and compliance obligations.
- Escalate critical security incidents and collaborate with SOC, Database, Application, Infrastructure, Risk, and Audit teams during investigations and remediation activities.

Required Technical Skills

Mandatory

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on IBM Guardium DAM administration experience.
