Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Finance & Accounts Manager, based in Mumbai, to own finance and accounting across our India and USA entities. This role will be responsible for finalizing the books of accounts, reviewing day-to-day bookkeeping, driving financial controllership, and delivering MIS and management reporting. As we scale, the role will build out our FP&A; function and lead statutory audits, financial due diligences, and other audits. The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a similar role at a scaling startup.





What You’ll Do

● Finalize the books of accounts for India and USA entities, including month-end and year-end closing

● Review day-to-day bookkeeping to ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions, including AP, AR, and reconciliations

● Own financial controllership, including internal controls, financial policies, and compliance with Indian and US regulations

● Prepare monthly MIS and management reports for leadership, with clear analysis of performance and key metrics

● Build and lead FP&A; as the business grows, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

● Manage statutory audits, financial due diligences, and other audits, coordinating with auditors, advisors, and investors

● Oversee bank, ledger, and intercompany reconciliations across India and USA entities

● Track cash flow and working capital and support treasury planning

● Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, and internal teams on reporting and compliance matters

Who You Are

● CA with 2-3 years of startup experience

● Prior experience working in a cross-border (India–USA) finance setup

● Experience in manufacturing / factory accounting

● Proficient in Zoho Books is a plus

● Strong attention to detail and disciplined approach to financial processes

● Good communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and internal teams
